Great little town with friendly people. Very welcoming community to all. If you want to get away from the big city, small town Blanco is the place to go during the holidays. Very beautiful lights and then just a short drive futher up north in Johnson City is more beautiful lights and activities to do. Love the small town felling. Only thing I would change is of course small town gossip, but then again where is there no gossip ;)

Many of the teachers don't give homework, and if they do it's very helpful and is a good way for students to practice what they learned in class. The teachers follow the curriculum requirements very well and make sure to get all the information needed to those that want it.

The UIL program and many of the clubs are an amazing experience for students. Students get to make more friends and either learn and study a school subject, or learn how to help the community through volunteer work.
