As a high school it is incredibly taxing and difficult but the college prep is no joke. The IB diploma is not worth the hype if you plan on applying in country, out of country is a separate story. I recommend evaluating what college you plan on attending during your sophomore year and checking out what credits transfer before committing to the IB diploma.

My experience overall has been good with academics. The international academy follows an intense curriculum. It does however have a very competitive school culture that can be damaging to some students.

Attending this charter school was probably the best decision I could make. It was a rigorous and stressful challenge but well worth it. This is an amazing school not only in terms of a great education but in the fact that students are taught valuable life lessons on management, leadership, collaboration and more.

Fantastic experience. Our younger daughter studied in IA for full 4 years and it was a transforming experience. Great on academic rigor and has excellent teaching faculty. One of the best in the country.
