We are so happy to have found a home at St. Hugo. The principal, teachers and community have been wonderful. We have enjoyed the community especially at the Trunk or Treat. We are looking forward to many years in this excellent academic and faith-filled community.

The teachers are never available to either help students or provide an extra challenge. I learned the most on my own, outside of the classroom.

The students here were awful. I was bullied for six years and ostracized because I cared about learning. I wasn't challenged in school, but I was rejected by the teachers when I asked for extra work. I did enjoy the discipline ingrained in every student (uniforms, measuring skirts, strict rules, no talking in the halls, etc), but I didn't like the fact that girls and boys were basically segregated.

This school has changed drastically in the past five years and has very concerning teacher retention or teachers that basically are fresh out of college then...

St Hugo was permanently damaging to my child. We wasted K-3rd grade there. The attitude of the teachers and administration places everything on the child when their literal job is to teach and help the child. All the issues our daughter was having with handwriting, math, socially their attitude was...

If you're thinking about sending your child to St. Hugo school- I have one advice for you: RUN! Turn around and run away as far as you can from this school! The teachers are extremely biased. I will start with some examples:Does your child color outside the lines? That's unacceptable at St. Hugo! Do...

We have been at St. Hugo for many years with 3 children. We have seen Sister Margaret retire and many positive and progressive changes come into play with Principal Vincler. Sister Margaret ran a great school with a very traditional approach. Principal Vincler has an incredibly open ear to the paren...
