As a graduate, i can say that my experience was rocky but not because of the school or administration because of me, but i had grown to make a relationship with my counselor and she was the best i could've ask for! she made my years worth it

From what I've seen, the music department at the High School is excellent; the marching band is one of the best programs at the school. Along with this, the BHS is one of the most diverse schools in the state of Illinois. The best parts of BHS are the opportunities available for anyone. The BACC classes held there are amazing jumpstarts to get ready for the future.

BHS is a very middle-of-the-road school. Decent facilities, decent AP offerings, decent curriculum. Most of the teachers are amazing, but there are absolutely a few bad eggs.

Worst school! They allow kids to get bullied and expect them not to fight back!!! Food sucks! Poor education

i am a student here, and my experience at this school is not the best. Definitely better than BJHS, but still not a big improvement.I am a disabled, trans, lesbian student who is discriminated against by teachers, students, and other staff almost every day.

The students take pride in their academics, their extra curriculars, their community and relationships with one anot...

This school succeeds even with half of it's population low income. Some schools in town have a very narrow culture view in school population for income, ethnicity, religious, etc. This school has prepared my child for the real world, and going out into it and making friends with people of all color...
