From what I've seen, the music department at the High School is excellent; the marching band is one of the best programs at the school. Along with this, the BHS is one of the most diverse schools in the state of Illinois. The best parts of BHS are the opportunities available for anyone. The BACC classes held there are amazing jumpstarts to get ready for the future.

BHS is a very middle-of-the-road school. Decent facilities, decent AP offerings, decent curriculum. Most of the teachers are amazing, but there are absolutely a few bad eggs.

I love all of the teachers here - they're all very nice and they all try their best to relate to the student. It's a very nice, well-kept place that makes me feel at home. Everything is mandated very well too.

i am a student here, and my experience at this school is not the best. Definitely better than BJHS, but still not a big improvement.I am a disabled, trans, lesbian student who is discriminated against by teachers, students, and other staff almost every day.
