I am an alumnus of the school and recently returned to give them my support at a school event. My experience at Council Oak Montessori School, and that of both of my brothers, was wonderful. It prepared each of us for our different paths in life. I think that's the beauty of Montessori education. Since returning I have only been more impressed with Council Oak Montessori School than I was before. They have added a farm-to-table gardening program, the likes of which I have never seen elsewhere. On top of that, their music, and yoga and mindfulness programs are top notch. I'm a little jealous of today's students. I don't have any children of my own, but I met two alumni at this event who have children currently enrolled. Council Oak Montessori School is a wonderful school and I think anyone would be happy there.

The Children get to learn in a real world environment. They garden, enjoy learning music, create art of all kinds, and learn how to react to situations with curiosity and kindness. My daughter started at COMS last year in the 3rd grade. She is thriving there. She looks forward to going to school every day. The staff is amazing. It’s a tight knit community. They have done a great job during covid keeping everyone safe. I highly recommend this school.
