Going to May River since my freshman year, I have noticed how the teachers truly care for you. Not only do they put your academics first but yourself they want to be there to help you throughout your high school experience as everyone knows that can be a hard. We have our administration who helps keep us safe. They are there as someone to always talk to I would not choose any other school if I had the choice as may river is also very safe public high school.

I think that this school is a pretty good school but it is very strict. The food isn't terrible. There are some teachers that I don't particularly like but other student might.

Being at May River scared me at first because I wasn't used to an environment bigger than a small community. I was shocked, but I adjusted to my environment here at May River quite quickly. I really like the classes that MRHD offers, even if it's not that many it's still more than what I had before. I liked that there's so many sports options, and more electives to choose from. I really liked that there are students of the same race as me, like there was a little more diverse.

The principal is very vested in the school environment and making sure the faculty and students are in a safe environment. Disrespectful behavior is not tolerated and students are there to learn. There are many clubs and sports activities so students can find something that works for them.
