I've had a great high school experience. Throughout my years in attendance I've made great connections with the students and staff. I've been able to take a variety of rigorous and engaging classes. I've been able to get involved in the school through many ways such as Student Government and clubs. Watauga High School fosters a great learning environment and has set me up for future success.

Administration is horrible. They only care about minorities and don't give a crap about white people.

My senior year at Watauga has been filled with amazing memories. I am an athlete and a student, so there were no boring moments. I chose to take AP classes, dual enrolled classes and fun classes to give myself a break. I have had a phenomenal experience connecting with my teachers and learning more about subjects. The staff have been fantastic, and I am lucky to be in a rigorous but yet dynamic environment.

Poor educational continuity. Scheduling is a nightmare. Limited advanced classes and I'm really not sure if WHS can or tries to prep students for any kind of a challenging college experience.

Amazing school, phenomenal programs, teachers who actually care about the students, and the student population is comprised of genuinely great kids. We moved here from Florida to get away from the violence, poor quality schools, drugs and regular 'school shooter' threats, and it was the best decisio...

We could not be happier. My daughter was not doing well at her previous high school in Florida because mainly of the disruption and disrespect going on and as a result the teachers were stressed out and mean and had no patience. At Watauga, the student population is much more respectful and the stud...

Watauga High School is not a good place for gifted kids. I am a former student who switched schools and I always felt frustrated by the simplicity of academics at WHS. Prerequisites would have kept me out of AP classes until I was in 11th grade, far after I started needing placement at that level. T...
