GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's a small school so you can connect with your teachers easily and develop a strong relationship. You get the help you need if you find yourself struggling in the resource department. This school has a strong outgoing principle that shows fantastic leadership skills and activity involvement. This school's goal is to make sure everyone is comfortable with where they are and have a plan for after school. Whether it's going to college or joining the work force.

I think Boothbay Region High School is unique because of the size of the school. It's such a small school so it allows you to be more one on one with each teacher in every class.

The small atmosphere of BRHS is very welcoming and comforting. All of the teachers are devoted to improving your learning experience and will help you in any way possible. The connections I have with students and faculty is unlike anything I've experienced. However, I would change the ranking of AP classes. Despite the difficult curriculum, I believe that they should not be weighting GPA's so much.

First off, I love Boothbay. But for many reasons I wouldn't recommend this school. If you're good in school, and leave, and even mention that school that you're going to is a bit better, everyone will say that you can do just as well in Boothbay if you try harder. Promising? No. So basically you hav...

As a student I am very disappointed in teachers here at my high school. They do not teach us how to do our assignments. Then they give us tests and quizzes, and expect us to do well on them. As teachers, they are supposed to teach the students how to do their work, and help them get the education th...
