GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Parkway High School is a great place with very nice people. The school affords some AP classes for anyone to learn from.

Parkway was a good experience in my opinion. They had plenty of after-school clubs and activities to help students find their niche. However, I do believe the admin and some teachers were not up to par.

I feel I was prepared for college in terms of my English and Science classes. However Math and History focused courses I feel weren't focused on enough. One of the main issues for me going to school was the administration. I would go to class and get taught by someone who saw teaching as a job and a way to make money not to actually teach and better the students. It felt as if my teachers did not care about me or my success.

This school administration is TRASH. Forcing their football players to kneel during the anthem or they get kicked off the team. Shame on this administration-that isn't leadership, that isn't supporting kids to think for themselves and think critically, a skill millions of people disturbingly lack in...

The school has a few problems here and there, but it has so many outstanding qualities that they outweigh the bad parts. The band is great, the football team is great, and just about everything shows the school's strive for excellence in all ways.

I am a student and the teachers and principles mostly lie and they don't teach. if a student is not in any sports the administration will not care about you.
