I chose this area to move as a thought a small school near EAFB would be more diverse than other schools, would welcome children moving in and have programs for kids on the spectrum.To be fair there are a couple of teachers that try and do care, but that is where it stops.If there is issues with rac...

A school where you call the office to be accosted because you are going to pick up the child instead of them riding a bus home. They ignore parent requests until threatening going to the district office to file complaints, even though the requests are for things that were listed in the child's IEP....

I have nothing but positive things to say about VES. Everyone that I've met at VES is amazing... You can tell that most of these folks really enjoy their job and want to make a profound impact on our kids lives. I wish my kids could have gone here from day one but unfortunately as a military family...
