During our Kindergarten year, the time at this school was great. The teachers were very good and we had no issues. However, in 1st grade my child was diagnosed on the spectrum and needed a 504/IEP to help her through the next coming years at this school. The teacher was awful, giving no support and...

From top to bottom, everyone at Emily Dickinson seems so calm, kind, caring, and friendly. There is such a warm atmosphere. The PAC (PTA) organizes a lot of great activities (like an after-school Family Movie Night in the gym), and there is a lot of all-family participation in the low-cost, low-pres...

Such a family friendly school. The principal is amazing as are the teachers. We have had four children attend and just love it...... and this is after spending several years with children at Hawthorne and one year at Longfellow! Emily Dickenson far exceeds both of those!

The school is very easy to work with. The teachers and the principal are happy to talk to a parent whenever needed. I could call the teacher in the classroom and talk to her if I needed to. My daughter misses this school.
