used to be a student here. I can't say their name, but one of the art teachers would constantly be mean to my class, and the teachers would blame us for being disrespectful when in reality the teacher was just lazy and impatient. I have autism, I don't like to sit still. My main teachers all help me through this, so that is good, but this teacher targeted me with punishments for the smallest things. Once I ran on the rug for a couple seconds. She yelled at me to come back, and called me crazy cat girl (I'm a demiboy, by the way.) I was teased for the rest of the day. This teacher would do things like this about once every 2 sessions of art, mostly to only me. Recess is also VERY unsafe. Kids have gotten injured at least 30 times. The recess supervision doesn't do anything. There are other teachers who are great, but they are leaving and don't want to stay. If you don't want your student to come home crying, hurt, angry, or miserable, please find another school.
