GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Over the past four years, my school has been through a lot. During freshman year there were 2 suicides in my grade as well as a bomb threat. When the school was in a state of fear and mourning the staff was able to bring everyone together and support the students. I have always felt like the teachers and staff create a safe environment for everyone to express themselves and learn better.

The teachers are great at Brevard High School if you take the time to get to know them. The academics are either hit or miss but overall its a good school to attend.

My experience at Brevard High School has been a positive one. I have enjoyed the availability of AP and Honors classes, as well as the opportunity to be dual enrolled at a local community college.

Even though it's amazing, Brevard High School could definitely use some tender love and care. For instance, our CTE wing is the oldest hallway here. The wa...
