My experience at Brewer High School has been overall positive. My biggest complaint about the school is the lack of diversity, as a biracial student I'm yet to meet many kids that look like me. I've felt nothing but welcomed at the school, but I'd love to see a similar face or two. I'm one of two biracial girls in my grade.

This school is solely comprised of special need students and people from Brewer who can't afford the tuition to go anywhere else. Sending schools like Orrington and Holbrook send only their special needs students to Brewer. Brewer is very welcoming for these students but not for anyone else. If you'...
