The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

As a sophomore at Brick Memorial I can confidently say I have a mixed review. The school has many wonderful clubs, sports, and programs; but is lacking student involvement. I would love to see an uproar in student participation because I believe a school community is nothing without students. With that being said Brick Memorial is a positive environment with many challenging and immersive experiences.

Brick Memorial high school was my home away from home for 4 years of my life. I had many opportunities to be the best person and student I can be. But, in my experience the worst thing about it is some of the teachers just don't know how to teach.

Brick Memorial High School has a lot of pros and cons for the kids that attend. Some good things I have experienced while being a student there was that most teachers form genuine connections with their students. They are into helping when you need it and genuinely care about their students. Some of the bad that I have experienced was that some teachers would create a negative learning environment and complain about other students and their jobs. I would just like to see more positive energy from some staff members.
You don't learn much and if you do its stuff you do not need to know for college at all. The students are rude and dont care about you in anyway. There is pretty much a fight everyday maybe even 2-3 times in a day. Some of the teachers are great and lighten up the mood but you only see them once. Th...
Not a lot of opportunity at this school. Except for exceptional students, the rest can skate by, fly under the radar and fall through the cracks. Not great for college preparedness.
Like any public high school, it is what you make of it. I have had a good experience with my child while she attended this school. Teachers were attentive, helpful and supportive.
