It's a decent school. However sports were the main concern and not academics. I had moved from Salem to ICC and what ICC was learning I had already gone over at my other school a few years before.

It is a very strong school academically and athletically. Lots of school activities to choose from. It has won the state championship in boys basketball and runner-up in state quiz bowl this year plus won a junior high regional in chess. Also many award winning activities such as livestock team, band, choir, and a Biomedical Sciences Program.

The community of the school is just overall great. It's a 1A school, so everyone knows everyone. And the music program is amazing. We won't have football until 2020, if I'm correct. But the cougar nation is just one big family.

ACT state tests results just released and ICC has a composite ACT average score of a 22 plus for last year's seniors.. The state average is 20. ICC students scored significantly above the state average in all areas. The high school provides a free summer ACT Prep program exclusively for its students...
