Currently a student at the freshman academy and I have to say, money is spent disproportionately, *most* teachers are unoriginal and unenthusiastic, little student-to-teacher contact/compromise (a "you get it or you don't" attitude) Students are self-entitled and degrade others with little to no repercussions, and the whole school smells like weed, BO, and depression.

In terms of academics, the Freshman Academy is not very good. The majority of the teachers that you may have are completely hit-or-miss.

The bullying was horrendous. I got stalked, beat up, slammed against lockers, people would write horrible things about me and other people on the bathroom walls, and the school won't do anything. I had two teachers who I could talk to about my problems and they listened and gave me better advice tha...
