GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my experience at Broken Bow High School was very good. The teachers and staff were always willing to help and they wanted you to succeed. This school system offered many extra curricular activities. They ranged from fine arts, sports, and to various clubs. They actively prepared the students for college by doing practice ACT's and discussing how to apply to college. I would recommend this high school

I was very happy as a student there. I always felt safe and the teachers were always very willing to help me. I was in Special Education due to a physical disability and was always treated with kindness and respect by the Special Education Department. I was in a class that was very high achieving and that was great because it made us challenge ourselves to always be our best. I believe the school staff is doing a very good job at trying to prepare students for the future.

There are a few teachers in this school system that go beyond the bare minimum that they're required. I felt that most of the teachers are doing just enough to get by. They use lesson plans that they've used for years and although we had laptops and a great amount of technology at our disposal, the teachers didn't know how to use it. I very rarely felt that the teachers cared about me personally.
