The content of education is satisfactory but there is a lack of opportunities for all students only favoring favorites.

I went there from 8th to my senior year. The staff was unorganized never communicated with each other and most of the time and " forgets" to communicated with student unless its for their benifit.

At my 4 year stay at bsswa the atmosphere was warming and welcoming . You had help left and right . All of the staff is helpful and loving . You feel right at home . All of the teachers care about your progress in all your classes . The after school programs are very much helpful like academic clinic . The sports are good and they teach you about leadership and how to be a team such as the wrestling team . Bsswa wasn't all that bad . I'll miss it dearly .

It started off great the school seem to encourage good behavior and creative but then the next year they got sticker. Didn't really seem to care about the students I even got detention once because my mom bought me a uniform without a collar a simple mistake. But they didn't care.

From the principal, parent coordinator, teachers & staff of this school have inspired my oldest son to do better and even look forward to college in the near future. Its a family oriented community school who don't only focus on academics and arts but on helping our children feel like faml and comfy...

My Children have been in the school for 6 years. I couldn't have found a better school for them in the Bronx !!! Not far from home, the teachers give 110% & they make young adults out of their students. They dont not teach them for only test. They go up and beyond for their students ! I Love #BSSWA...
