My child is constantly having issues at this school. The school has no real structure. Students hang out in hallways and bathrooms. Children go unmonitored for lengthy amount of times. Teachers only try with students they feel are “worth” trying with. The assistant principal is nice. The principal i...

The principal and assistant principals are great at PS 8, the staff and teachers focus on children's needs. My son started PS 8 in kindergarten and was reading by January through pandemic.

I have no complains, my daughter attended the school since Kinder. She had wonderful teachers. The only thing is, I wish they had home economics and other fun activities. I believe that is important besides English, & Math and other subjects. But overall, very happy with the school.
