I believe I was in the first class to graduate from this school. I have a picture of our class somewhere. I will post it if anyone is interested. Was moved over from P. S. 20 on Simpson St. I believe it was 1959 yes 1959. There was a good mix of students although the demographics were changing. There were still a few Jewish kids still. But the majority were Puerto Rican. I went on to Herman Ridder Jr. High, P. S. 98 to get ready for Bronx Science High. Never got there we moved to CA. The love of reading was instilled in me then and has stayed with me to this day. I hope at least one classmate has survived and answers.

This school is great.... if you are Hispanic. They give you the run around when it comes to registering your child for pre-k and lie about calling parents and leaving voice mails when seats become available.
