GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school is very big, over 2,400 students. The style of teaching at this school is generally a traditional take on education. It reminds me of my past high school experience. My child never feels overlooked by the staff or lost in classwork. Like with all schools, not all the teachers are going to be the greatest, but my child has mostly had a good share of outstanding ones. The The "arts' teachers are by far the best around, it shows in the quality of the children's talent (natural, and teacher enhanced).

I'm not sure about clubs because my child only joined a yearly sport. There are many clubs out there but from what I'm told, not too much involvement since the school day is a very long one and kids travel very long distances to get home. Kids really are tired by the end of the school day and head home. There are a good amount of sports teams. My son does volleyball and I noticed there aren't many spectators or support group of students, as per the reason listed above.

They never payed any attention when ever there was and issue with the students. I'm 15 now and it's safe to say I would of rather...

Horrible, its a zone school, and its rather unfortunate that there aren’t much options in this neighborhood. It’s overcrowded, has to extra curricular activities and frankly the teachers and leadership barely care about these student. I wouldn’t recommend this school to any parent for any reason.
