The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love how the school is project based and allows students to reach their graduation requirements at their own pace. Instead of fostering test anxiety and text-book class structure we're able to focus more on research and group discussion rather than preparing for the Regents exam. There are also so many resources and opportunities that are provided from the school and so much support when someone wants to apply to any program. There are also a ton of sports and extracurricular that everyone finds something to do that they love. I've been able to meet so many people and learn so much from the school and it's connections to other organizations that I would not have been able to attend with out the support of school staff and peers.

Teachers are kind and considerate. Can be difficult to get help from the administration and other faculty in concerns to mental health and college support. Tight nit community, everybody knows everybody.

I feel like it is in the middle because they have some good programs and activities for students, but some of the staff and teachers there are not that good. Some people judge students only because of something that they slightly did wrong. Not only that but also the students there bully each other and they are mean towards each other. Most teachers seem not to consider this and do not do anything about it.
