Throughout his senior year, my son has benefited significantly from the dedication of his teacher and counselor, who have offered extensive academic guidance. His involvement in the boys club and peer groups with freshmen has been instrumental in developing his confidence and leadership skills.

When I joined University Prep High School I was a transfer student and I met a lot of new people but once I settled in I realize what type of school it really was.Teachers and administers had favorite students who were allowed to do anything they wanted.It made my friends and I feel out of place in the school and it made us feel even worse being the only African and Muslim group but the teaching is up to par and the schools have many clubs to join.

I've honestly enjoyed my high school like at UP. The teachers are decently supportive and understand you as a person and student. There is a bunch of hands on activities and many after school and during school clubs to keep you engage which is a top thing for me. The classes prepare you for the next level and you get pushed for college readiness.

I must agree, this school is excellent. Staff members care about the students and always have time to speak to parents. This school is one of the best schools in the Bronx.

This is my son second year attending Green dot NY Chater school, he will be attending the 10th grade this september.
