We've been at OLA for 9 years. If your child is quite most of the time you will be fine here. Otherwise they will make you feel like something is wrong with your child. Middle school teachers are horrible!

OLA is a wonderful school, with excellent academics, engaged teachers and administrators. The students benefit from a very involved and supportive community of parents and children. Our Lady of the Assumption is a special school that fosters each child's character and prepares them for their future endeavors.

For the last three years, we have seen our kids thrive at OLA. We feel that they receive individual attention when they need it and we are included early to mitigate any issue before it can become a bigger problem. Great care and consideration goes into the curriculum for academics and exposure to the arts to give a well rounded experience. We feel so lucky to have found OLA.

OLA's has a singular approach to teaching. If your child does not respond to that approach, it is your problem. There are several very good teachers, but equally as many mediocre teachers. Few teachers are proactive about communicating with the parents, and when communication does occur, its a paper...

My twin boys will be new kindergardeners to OLA this coming school year 2013/14. My husband and I decided to put the in the short summer school program that is available. This school is very good and has a lot of potential. The worse it had was its principal, but she has been replaced fortunately. Hopefully the new principal will be more respectful to parents.
