GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Very small friendly community, when I transferred from Brookhaven high school i didn't know what to expect. The only thing bad about this school is the bullying and lack of initiative towards bullying

best experience will be graduating. loved my math and spanish teachers. they were great. the worst is the lack of help with counselor. they pick favorites and if you aren't in the click or a sport they dont care. signed up for dual enrollment and counselor told us that i would never be able to take all those and pass. I made straight A's and possibly 1 B.

My personal experience with Loyd Star School , was not the best the school does not really get anyone ready for collge ,and does not offer a lot of advance course either. The school is ok overall but it does need improvement to help prepare students ,for the future.

This school used to be really good. Now it just SUCKS! No one cares about the students anymore…these so called adults are just their for a paycheck, it’s like prison going here. I can count on one hand how many teachers are genuine at this school…I’m on the verge of pulling my kids out. Don’t enroll...
