GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

BHHS IS THE BEST. The Girls basketball team is legit. They are the best in the state and have a strong positive culture. The students are very supportive of each other and come to all the school events with Bruin Pride

There is no school nurse, however there isn't much need for one. There is no bullying that I ever see, and nobody I know ever feels threatened at school. Overall the school is very safe.

The teachers are mostly good at what they do (at least the teachers I have). Some teachers may show bias towards some students, but never negatively, and it really depends upon the teacher. They all show interest in the students but not all are the greatest communicators. They all seem to be consistent with their grading practices as well.

It always felt like the administrators were watching to see we didn't share any personal views other tha...

Since my child has attended this school, they have changed the grading system three times. Now they have credit by proficiency, which in my opinion, only teaches students to pass tests. The students don't learn from this. It is a big disservice to the students. Furthermore, this school does not prep...
