I am a current going student at Columbia central high school . I had to deal with tons of bulling last year in 9th grade and when I went to not 1 teacher but multiple and by one teacher I was told in their own exact word from their lips ''stop complaining this is high school and if I couldn't handle it I should just drop out'' I also do not receive the help that is needed and when I ask for it I am always told that this is high school and there are instruction on the paper even though I wish that they would ELABERATE more. that is not all the problem that I was having then and that i am having now but this needs to be fixed immediately ~Tim'Mya Tate

I moved to Columbia Central in 7th grade. My experience has definitely gotten better since then. I think the teachers are amazing and the opportunities we have are also amazing. This school has it's faults but they strive to do everything they can for their students. I think they put sports first which is disappointing but a lot of schools do.

Everyone is a big family there. We had each other's backs. Teachers always make sure they teach you well. Very proud of sports.

Disappointing education that did not prepare me for college. 90% of teachers only seem to be there for the paycheck and hate being challenged. Academics take a back seat to athletics. Close-minded school district.

My aunts and uncles went here. My mom. My brother and I. I read these reviews now, about athletics taking precedent, the good 'ol boy network, and then I read mlive about the retire-rehire scandals, the money that went missing after the last passed millage... and I want to cry. It has been 40 years...
