Academy for Young Writers is an okay school. I've been here since 6 grade and now that I am a senior about to go to college, all I can really say about this school is that it's not the best school but it's also not the worst school.

Currently we are working on 3 big things: academics, safety, and school spirit. Hopefully when I come back these things have improved.

Academy for young writers is very unique, afyw tries their best to make the school feel like a family and provides the best support when it comes to health, school, sexuality or any concerns we may have.
