GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

They dont really excel in any aspect of sports or academics, so it is just a regular school. The staff themselves are okay. Some have an attitude and act hostile towards the kids and can be very disrespectful. Overall the school is like a 6/10, i would recommend transferring to a better school if possible.

My experience at East New York Family as had its ups and downs. I'm thankful for many of the teachers and administrators that have helped me. Though there are many moments where school was hard. I'm thankful for the friendships and relationships I made in my community.

I liked the teachers personality. They are easy to talk to. I would like to see change is the crowded hallways. Good that they are changing/rebuilding the school.

This is an excellent school. The staff is like family. My daughter was on the honor roll for four year. She was able with tutoring to graduate early and is now in college. If your child is struggling the teacher will work late or come in on the weekend to help them. Just a wonderful school.
