The atmosphere of East New York Family Academy is a very welcoming environment. The school makes you feel like you are all connected like family. I walked in to ENYFA as a transfer and was welcomed faster than I had thought. The academics and staff challenge you severely. If you are a student who they feel is ready to take the next step they ensure that you will have the capabilities and tools for the learning ahead. With that being said the school does not have readiness for college for its students. Their is a severe lack of help for college that I hope can be changed for the future. As a junior myself I only was focused on my academics and sports but if there was talk of college classes it would have been fit into my schedule accordingly. Overall I like this school and it is a great fit for most.

This school has recently dropped dramatically in their academics and overall student morale. In light of this, they attempt to enforce even more rules that suffocate the children.

I've been in family for four years and i can honestly say its a one on one school. they deal with you personally and understand everyone goes through their own obstacles. they attempt to overcome it together.

This is an excellent school. The staff is like family. My daughter was on the honor roll for four year. She was able with tutoring to graduate early and is now in college. If your child is struggling the teacher will work late or come in on the weekend to help them. Just a wonderful school.
