My student is thriving at Kings Elementary School ! he is in second grade and I love how dedicated the staff are and how invested his teachers are in his education. This is a great school and I am glad that my son is thriving here.

It's a great school. They are so devoted to the idea of community and also getting their students who are all people of color to and through college. They also teach a lot of activism and connecting with identity which is shown through the prides and traditions celebration they have every year . the end of the year trips [5th grade(Boston), 6th grade(Washington DC), 7th grade (Connecticut), 8th grade (San Francisco).However the work they give you is a lot. And the teachers apply It takes great dedication to do all of it. If you don't mind putting in a little extra effort its a great middle school to attend.

This is really a great school. My son is currently in 7th grade about to leave due to the fact that we are moving, this is heartbreaking not to be part of this school anymore because the staff really cares about the kids, the principal in particular.
