The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have went to this school since 2018, and will be leaving for college in 2025. This school has definitely helped me meet new people who can aid me in my future, given opportunities that I will never stop appreciating, and taught me some very tough lessons about work ethic, consistency, and purpose.

Medgar Evers creates a very welcoming and informative. With four different buildings, the area on campus is so vast. Counselors and advisors do their very best to aid and help you make/understand choices as well as opportunities you could have.

The school has a good academic standing with free aps and the college programs/ steam which I decided not to take because I did not want to be extra stressed. On the bad side most of the teachers has an attitude and would honestly fail you if they don't like you it happened to me in chemistry the only things I failed was the final and he failed me not even a 65 but a 55.
