GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part of my experience would be graduating and leaving the school and my worst parts would be failing my classes at the beginning of the school year.

The Young Women's Leadership School of Brooklyn is a great school for girls coming of age. In this school you get advice on how to become a strong independent woman while working with the team of teachers through each grade to make sure you're college bound.

My teachers care about me and what me to pass and go to college. All the staff cares about me well-being and they create a friendly environment. A lot of my teachers are some of the best at what they do and genuinely enjoy teaching.

There were 6 altercations prior to speaking with the principal and nothing was documented until after the conversation with her. The dean (...

The curriculum is rigorous, and there is plenty of homework and projects. I would definitely recommend this school to any yo...
