GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I had a great time going here. The teachers are all lovely and they work really hard to teach students. Even the other faculty members were great. They all cared about the student going there. The only downside was the other students. I definitely believe that sometimes the school was too kind on students who were disruptive in some form or another.

I am a proud graduate of Bracken County High School. I had so many good experiences here and I hope everyone that is currently attending does the same!

BCHS has provided my with a great foundational education. I believe Bracken could do better with dual credit students by allowing higher attainment of associates degrees prior to high school graduation.
