This school really prides itself in preparing students for life beyond high school. They offer supplement classes through Front Range Community College and other colleges for more advanced students. The teachers always challenge students to excel beyond the normal high school student. It is just so small that some of these efforts are merely a work in progress.

Jefferson Academy has its reputation based on the past. Jefferson Academy Elementary is a horrible school. The principal - Mr.Feddema is a very incompetent leader. The administration is very poor, offering only a few electives for students. There is a significant amount of nepotism and a lack of interest in children's development. Homework interferes with daily life, so much that you can't enjoy time with your kids on the weekdays. Many teachers are unqualified and "on the job" trained (in house, so they are learning the exact same behaviors and techniques already used in the school).
