This school is terrible. I'll be glad when my 8th grader moves on to highschool. The teachers are horrible here. No discipline for children and can't keep the kids under control. My kid can't even focus on class because the teachers let the kids do whatever they want.

My kids have excelled at the school, and have had some great teachers who have done really well given that the community continuously underfunds Ravenna schools by not passing levies. Until just recently the school had been without air conditioning and was miserable in the early fall and late spring...

As a just graduated 8th grader, the school has definitely gotten better under new administration. Supportive of LGBTQ+ people as well (queer trans guy here).

Ravenna is a welcome happy medium between a rural school like Southeast which my children attended previously. And Cleveland schools which I attended as a kid. There's nothing wrong with Ravenna School District and a lot that is right.
