The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Piedmont classical high school administrators and principal are very involved in the school, though funny and cool to be around they will snap into discipline mode if needed. Overall the school gets your college ready and prepares the students for oncoming challenges in their life.

Although there could be more opportunity for sports, clubs, and music/the arts, overall I have really enjoyed my experience at Piedmont. The teachers are amazing and there is a good selection of AP classes, including the AP Capstone program. There are many nice people and the student body is diverse. The small size makes the school truly feel like a family and the classical curriculum is very unique.

I liked how small the classes were and how many of the teachers cared about their students. They were willing to help if the student was willing to put in the effort. On the other hand, a small group of the teachers didn't put in a lot of effort or were just generally rude to students whenever they asked for help, and that made it harder for students to get by in their class. However, a majority of the teachers were good and outweighed the bad ones. I felt that, for the most part, I was getting the education that I deserved.
