This is the epitome of all public schools. It has some good, some bad, underfuded, some terrible staff, some great staff. It is what you expect. The google reveiws are the best check them out.

I like the school they are bully free, and also we learn a lot over there even though the homework is kind of hard! But overall its a great recomandation for your child!

A couple of 8th graders made cards for suicide prevention month this year, and they were pulled aside and got in a lot of trouble for giving them to teachers to display in their classrooms. BMS has great, caring staff, and it is small enough that there is a lot of personal attention for the students. One 8th grade teacher was named Teacher of the Year for Frederick County! Our son had a great 3 years there.
