Nestled in the Verrado community, Verrado Heritage Elementary has been committed to connecting, educating and empowering students in prekindergarten through eighth grade since opening its doors in 2015. This public school embraces a rigorous, well-rounded curriculum where students learn to be problem-solvers and critical thinkers who can welcome and participate in discussions. Here, students often earn test scores in reading and math that are above the district average and well above the state average, helping Verrado Heritage to rank among the top elementary and middle schools in Arizona. To better nurture all students, the school offers the district’s Traditional Academy Program, which enables students to learn in a fast-paced environment, in addition to a gifted and honors program and special education services. Outside the classroom, students can enjoy different extracurriculars, from running club to sign language club, as well as several sports, including soccer and basketball. Throughout the year, Verrado Heritage invites students to participate in a calendar of fun events to feel like they are an important part of the community.

You’ll keep bringing up the concern you have till you tu...
