GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I graduated from this school. My overall experience there was wonderful. The people were super nice and the teachers were great. They were always willing to go above and beyond for the students. My favorite part of the learning style here was how much the outdoors was integrated into our learning. We were always able to get outside and apply classroom knowledge.

Is a small school, pretty tight knit. Everyone knows one another, for better or worse. They have improved college resources over the years but actual college prep classes would've been nice. The college tours called Buckfield on the bus, are great though, as some students don't have the opportunity to visit colleges on their own.

Buckfield Jr/Sr High School is a small school, but that's something many people find preferable, including myself. Help from a teacher is never too far away, and it's easier to get individualized attention, instead of falling through the cracks of a bigger high school, where the teachers wouldn't get to know me quite as well.
