I will be moving as soon as possible. Homeschool, online, private school, move out of Madison county. Go to Madison city or leave Alabama. I'm not kidding- if you want your child shamed scolded, spanked, yes they CAN and do spank kinds in Madison county like is 1950. The teachers shame the girls for not dressing lien baptist school marms. It's a horrible environment. Fights, racism, teachers jerking around the artistic and handicap kids. I wouldn't want to send my dog here.

I have heard far too many slurs around here, and recently I even heard a slur used against latinos said, as if were normal, by a teacher. First year here and we are excited! We were late transfers so they got us in and the counselor helped get us into the classes that were appropriate for our son with little problems. Compared to his last school in HCS the communication is fantastic! He was struggling in math when he first transferred...

So far, it's been a bit messy for my new 7th grader. Started with a completely wrong schedule. Rude front desk and nurse. Sports are based on politics. It's all about who you know. Just more daddy ball.
