I have attended Buna High School all four years of my high school career. Overall, BHS is a pretty alright school. I would not say it is one of the best out there, but it is definitely up there in the ranking in my opinion. I would not say that I have had any overtly good or bad experiences at this school.

I like that Buna High school makes me feel safe and secure, and the teachers and faculty are amazing and feel like family. School work is made easy for students and teachers are always willing to help whether it be before or after school to make sure a person understands what they are doing. What I don't like about Buna High School is that we are not allowed to have cell phones on campus and the only time we can have wifi is for chromebook use only.

I loved the teachers and the learning atmosphere most had. However a few teachers did not teach or seemed like they care to teach ALL students how they needed to be taught. I feel sorry for teachers picking favorites and not putting any effort in teaching kids who are to scared to reach out for help.

When I first started at this school, it was great. However, after recent budget cuts, great teachers have been lost. Also the budget allocation system is very corrupt, causing program cuts in necessary technology courses. Some school departments receive greater support from administration than other...

Buna is a tremendous school. I feel very privileged to work for such an incredible district! Students are wonderful and the teachers are great to work with.
