GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It has a small school and a small town feel. The community is involved and supportive. There isn't the normal cliches you see in other high schools. Everybody has known each other for years, it feels more like a family. The opportunities while more limited in choices are more open in acceptance. You have more of a chance to get into a club or onto a team that in other larger schools. There are great teachers and administrators to help guide you through your high school experience as well.

The school has very good teachers and staff that are knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. However, there are few classes offered to challenge my education, and I ended up having to take courses through running start to get a challenge. I would like to see more and harder courses for future classes.

I went to this school for my senior year only. I must say...it was terrible going to this school. From getting picked on to getting yelled at by the counselor and even threatened to kick me out of school by the then principal. I mostly got picked on, because I wasn't rich and I didn't really fit in...

I grew up in Burbank and went through all of the schools. I have had the opportunity to be the ASB president so I know a lot of what goes on here at Columbia High. From my observations I see great and hard working people in this community. In regards to one of the previous reviews, I can gladly say...

There is a serious problem in this high school! some kids are mean, they harass and bully other kids and no one cares! The prinicpal and superintendent and atheletic director are all aware. My child does NOT feel safe in this school. And my child is not learning a thing!
