The atmosphere of this school is very welcoming and inviting, although some of the staff can be a little condescending.

This school has definitely changed me a lot. I have been given many opportunities to volunteer and further my education. All of the staff are so nice. Students really feel close to everyone, not just the teachers. The only reason I would not give PECHS 5/5 stars is that as students get older and go to other campuses, they start to feel distanced from the school.

Pender Early College High School is a great school overall and definitely prepares us for the future and college since we have a dual enrollment system with Cape Fear Community College. The academics and teachers at this school are great and there are tons of clubs and activities. The one thing I would like to change is our school is supposed to be for advanced and well organized/prepared students but there are some students that honestly don't try at all and our school has a select budget so I believe when they're selecting students it should be a little more stricter.

Pender Early College is the best school in Pender County. In it's first graduating class alone, students have all been accepted to competitive universities including Harvard University, and received pretigious scholarships such as the Morehead-Cain scholarship at UNC-Chapel Hill. This can't be said...
