I love my school. Though many people say that it is 'ghetto' and "feels like a prison", it's my home and where I have attended the last 2 years of my life and will continue to attend the next 2 years.

I have loved the teachers at BHS. They tend to be understanding, helpful, and fun in every aspect of their work. However when it comes to help outside of regular school work, like clubs, college readiness, etc, information is available but tends to be hard to find and understand. I felt like my time since coming to BHS has been a rollercoaster but the teachers and my family have help greatly along the way. I do wish however that more would be done to help students with planning rather than keeping a GPA.

it's fine, i guess? it feels like that there's issues with comfort, if you get what i'm saying. like they're pushing at least 80 people through 2 small doors after a fire drill, they're not offering any help for people who are between regular ed and special ed; who just need a little more assistance, they enforce the weirdest rules, too. C lunch (my lunch) gets out at 1:55. last semester people were leaving at 1:51 and now they have people sweeping the halls and standing at the cafeteria doors to not let people out 4 minutes early. there were no issues arising because of this

Burleson High School has been great for our son the last three years. He will be a Senior this year and we are sad he will be leaving next year. I’m actually quite astonished at previous reviews given, because Burleson High School has been nothing short of amazing! As a new student to the district in 2020 he was apprehensive, as were his father and I. His counselor Mrs. Janek went above and beyond, and 2 years later continues to be available...
