Every month, millions of students and families use the Niche grades and report cards to find the right school or neighborhood.
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts about Florence Township Memorial High School include the student culture and involvement, events find a way to put everyone together whether if we hate each other or hate the day. While also the students themselves, I've made friends that I can definitely talk to on a normal basis when I'm in college, high school has taught me to be more social and I don't know how much better or worse these skills would be if I went anywhere else. The worst parts included communication, there's definitely moments where I needed help with anything ranging from not needed to essential. It could've been handled better for times of where it is handled like the absolute worse, the help was given to me overall but it was given to me at the last possible second. I could take it with a grain of salt if it was a big school, but I went to a small high school where everyone knew each other, so it bothered me more than ever.

I feel like FTMHS didn't prepare me for any college level work such as writing long, professional essays and public speaking.

I loved how diverse my high school is with different kinds of people with different backgrounds. Also, my high school made sure to establish great communication with their students in certain situations. Something they could change is focusing more on academics than sports because the school lacked academics a little bit at the beginning of my freshmen year, but got a bit better over the years.
Everyone has different experiences while attending school. All I can say that I graduated Florence two years ago and I had a very positive experience there. I felt the teachers were very interested in the students and now I realize how much effort they put into the school. Had a problem with a few o...
As a former student myself, this school district is kind of pathetic. Most of the teachers don't actually care about teaching and care more about that fact that they have a job. They show little effort outside of the school hours they get paid for. The best teachers they have (which you could count...
My son is a Jr. in this school and I am very pleased with his progress. He had a reading problem when he entered this school (from a Phila. school) and they caught it right away and got him up to grade level. The gym/athletic program is first rate. He was a little overweight when he entered Florence...
