GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my experience at Burlington High School has been good. There are plenty of good teachers to make connections with. There are lots of different course options along with a plethora of clubs, sports etc. I think that improvements could be made still.

While attending Burlington high school, there were many ups and downs. I loved the people but when it came to sports or academics, it was far too competitive.

Overall I have enjoyed Burlington High School. However, I do believe that there could be some changes made. I feel as though the math department and math teachers with in it have not done a good job preparing students for the future and teaching in general. It is hard to ask questions and most often receive little feed back. It just seems like they do not really care.

For those that actually make an effort to engage at their school, the teachers and environment are very supportive. It is important to note that the effort of the students is just as important as the effort of the teachers, and both are needed to succeed.
