GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I liked the fact that everybody knows everybody. It was comforting knowing that you weren't along and you could always go talk to the teachers.

I have loved attending Burton High School all my life. I enjoy the small school atmosphere and have grown to love everyone who is involved in this school. The teachers truly care about you and your wellbeing. I have formed bonds with many of my teachers that I know will continue outside of my high school career. I do wish the school would further pursue incorporating new classes and more options for extracurricular classes. The years I have spent at Burton High School have been a blessing and I cannot imagine attending high school anywhere else.

Burton High School is good school. Burton is a very small town, so you are able to have a good teacher-student relationship. The education is not very challeneging as other schools, but if you put in the work you'll be just fine. Burton is very freindly and place where you just come back to even if you don't plan on to. I wish they had a more selections of sports and advanced classes.

This is an amazing small school. No we don't offer the programs that huge schools do but we have a small private school atsmophere with amazing caring teachers. I have accomplished children who graduated from Burton and they manage in college just fine. Deans list fine!
