GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Butler High School is, in my opinion, the best high school in the area. However this is not saying much, as the competition is very rural and not as populous. The online opportunities at Butler High are fantastic, better than any neighboring school. There are some biases regarding family income, but these are reflected in all surrounding schools.

At butler high school I love how involved everyone is. We all are so involved in sports and our education. Our teachers care just as much about our education as us which is a great thing. My school takes things very serious when it comes to education and so do I. I would like to change the size of my school I wish it was bigger so more people could experience my school and have the amazing experience I get to have.

I believe my school is very sports orientated. Many of the administrators and faculty care more about our sports than academic extracurricular activities, such as quiz bowl, TSA, and Problem Solvers.

And the school you better keep your mouth shut and if you speak out about bullying, you will be punished if your parents speak out the kids will pay for it.

I have lived here for years and I don't believe the school is as good as it once was. I am very concerned about the quality of teachers. I understand that all the teachers are not teaching in the the area of their education or have yet received their certifcates. Let us spend more money on salaries...
